Our current economy encourages practices which are damaging our environment and destroy our ecosystem. External costs imposed on the environment are not taken into account. But we have achieved a point where we cannot postpone these costs to be handled by future generations: We will experience the consequences ourselves.
If we want to a livable future, we must change our practices and therefore our economy. After years of scientific research we need political and economic action.
The lecture series is organized in order to accelerate this process. We would like to invite you all to discuss in an informative, critical and interdisciplinary way with experts on sustainable economy.
