Praxisseminar Isarflussbad

This practical experience is exclusive to students of the Environmental Studies Certificate Program. It allows students to actively participate in the Isarlust e.V. campaign concerning the construction of a "Isarflussbad".
After a long period of preparation, the city of Munich has been planning the construction of a recreational water facility. However, the start of construction is pausing due to residents in the area and environmental conservationists expressing concerns and demanding transparency of the project.
The practical engagement started on 11 April and will run until 15 Juli. It will be followed by wrap-up phase after the final event. The time students will invest will correspond with that of an internship and allow them to achieve 6 ECTS credits.
