Matthias is studying human geography and sustainability at LMU Munich. He completed his BA in human geography from the Goethe-University of Frankfurt. During his studies he spent two semesters at the University of Plymouth. Following an internship in Vietnam, he wrote his BA thesis on spatial inequalities in the provision of health care within both urban and rural contexts. He is particularily interested in research regarding sustainability, human-environment relations, and rural development.
