Yannik Hecher completed his bachelor's degree in Biology at LMU Munich, focusing on botany, human biology and bacteria. He wrote his thesis on the cholerae bacterium. Since 2019, he is studying Sustainable Resource Management at the Technical University of Munich, which the Environmental Studies Certificate Program complements well due to its broad scientific coverage.
