Having completed a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and economics at the University of Bayreuth, Henrike Adamsen is now pursuing a master’s degree in economics at LMU Munich. As a result of an academic exchange at the Università di Bologna, her focus now lies in macroeconomics and climate economics. In search of a more interdisciplinary approach for studying issues concerning climate change, she enrolled in the Environmental Studies Certificate Program. The program has allowed her to gain insights into the ethical, anthropological, and geographic dimensions of environmental problems. With this interdisciplinary background, her main research interest lies in integrating sustainability and environmental/climate protection into economic theory and its various applications.
