Julia Schneider completed her BSc in geography and sociology at LMU Munich and VIU Venice (Italy) in spring 2016. Her thesis focused on the potential contribution of urban agriculture to food security in urban areas. She joined the Environmental Studies Certificate Program in October 2016 as part of her MA studies in physical geography, focusing on the monitoring, modelling and management of environmental systems. She is particularly interested in human-environment relations and interactions, global change research and different concepts of research communication.
