Anne Schilling received her Bachelor’s degree in International Technical Translation for English and French at the University of Applied Sciences Magdeburg-Stendal. During her Master’s program, European Studies at the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg, she developed a keen interest in international environmental politics, especially in the nexus of climate and migration. In her master thesis, she focused on the EU’s effective multilateralism during the negotiations of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. In 2018, Anne joined the RCC as an intern and recently completed the Environmental Studies Certificate Program.

After interning at the Rachel Carson Center, Anne joined the Environmental Studies Certificate Program in 2018 and currently works as a student assistant in the program.
