Sandra Mader received her BA in social and cultural anthropology at LMU Munich in 2014 and is continuing with a MSc in human geography and sustainability at LMU Munich. For her work in the Environmental Studies Certificate Program, Sandra is especially interested in interrelations between humans and their environment, multispecies ethnography and human-animal interactions. Together with Carina Schmitz (anthropology) and Pamela Flores (biology) she focused in her final project on the relationship between humans and dogs in animal-assisted therapy. Currently working on her MA thesis on migration and integrative city planning, she is exploring creative research methods with a focus on ethnological fieldwork and participant observation.
