Dörte Neumeister received her bachelor's degree in Biology from Earlham College (USA) in 2017. Currently, she is pursuing a master's degree in Ecology, Evolution, and Systematics at LMU Munich. As a biologist, she is currently studying hybridization and the process of speciation. As an Environmental Studies Certificate student, she is interested in the advantages and disadvantages of the emerging ecotourism industry in animal conservation and local's livelihoods. She is also interested in the impacts of extractivism in Ecuador's tropical rainforest.
