Thomas Müller studied Biology both at the LMU and TUM and earned his MSc in Biology at the TUM. He joined the Environmental Studies Certificate Program to learn how biological research, specifically in the field of ecology, can be communicated, improved and applied with the help of social sciences. Together with Ramona Mayr and Sibylle Zavalla he shed light on food waste in Munich. They focused on different measures of food saving, i.e. the Münchner Tafel, foodsharing e.V. and private dumbster divers, and illustrated this in a photography exhibition.
