Lea Wiser received her BSc in Geo-Sciences at the TU and LMU Munich in 2013. Since 2014 she is continuing with the MSc in Geobiology & Paleobiology since 2014 to study present and past interactions between geo- and biosphere and the evolution of organisms.
In her gap year Lea was a scientific assistant on a research vessel that examined ocean currents in the Atlantic, and worked at an environmental engineering office.
At the Molecular Laboratory from the LMU Munich, Lea is currently writing her Master´s Thesis on the genetic mechanisms that control the skeleton formation in sponges.
Additional to the MSc she is attending the Certificate Program „Environmental Studies“ from the Rachel Carson Center (LMU) because of her particular interest in environmental protection and climate change.
