Marc Bubeck is studying veterinary medicine and sociology at LMU Munich. He spent one semester at the University of Oslo in 2015. He received his bachelor's degree in sociology and statistics in 2015 and is continuing with a master's in sociology and gender studies. His bachelor's thesis was about the ambivalent role of horses in society. He is currently preparing his master's thesis, which will be a reconstruction of ambivalent human-animal-relationships in the field of veterinary medicine. He is particularly interested in human-animal studies (HAS), gender and queer studies, sociological theory and (qualitative) methods, veterinary humanities, and epidemiology.
