Johanna Bär is currently completing a degree (Magister) in Catholic theology and a teaching qualification (Lehramt Gymnasium) in Catholic religion and German at LMU Munich. In 2014, she spent a semester as a WWOOF volunteer working on organic farms in Brittany, France. Building on this experience, she began her master’s thesis in the field of applied environmental ethics, “Werte, Weltanschauungen und Motivationen im sozial-ökologischen Engagement: Analysen zur praktischen Umweltethik am Beispiel der Kooperation von Kloster Schlehdorf und dem KlosterGut.” This thesis is part of the Bavarian Research Network “Fit for Change.”
