Ringvorlesung „Naturschutz & Umweltforschung“

The course presented 13 lectures held by a new speaker each week on topics related to conservation. It gave a broad overview and displayed the job positions offered in the field, as not only scientists from different faculties and universities, but also various NGOs are invited to present their work. Topics ranged from species conservation over ecosystem conservation up to more antropocentric aspects. Students had to select a session in which they introduced the speaker and led the discussion as a group and about which each respective student had to write an essay.
Lectures were all held in German and guests were always welcome.
