Annika Spenger studies at LMU Munich. She received her bachelor’s degree in English studies, with a minor in history, from LMU Munich in 2018. During the 2016/17 academic year, she took part in the ERASMUS exchange program and studied English literature, applied linguistics, and history at the University of Warwick, UK. The title of her bachelor’s thesis is “The Limits of Rationalism: Feminist Narrative in Ian McEwan’s Saturday and Solar.” Currently, Annika is pursuing her master's degree in history at LMU Munich. She is also participating in the Environmental Studies Certificate Program at the Rachel Carson Center.
Since 2016, Annika has worked as a student assistant at the university library in Munich. After joining the Rachel Carson Center in September 2017 as a research assistant, she took over the position of a library associate in October 2018.
