Having a strong passion for environmental sustainability, Szimona is currently pursuing a MSc degree in sustainable resource management at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
Within her studies, Szimona is focusing on agriculture and water and she developed a special interest in the water-energy-food nexus. She is currently working on her MSc thesis in that topic, specifically on the water-related ecosystem services in solar parks.
During a research project in Kenya, Szimona developed an interest in social sustainability. In the environmental studies certificate program, she seeks to further explore the social aspect of sustainability as well as get new insights through the interdisciplinary approach of the program.
