Pia completed her Bachelor's degree in Literary Theory and Comparative Literature as well as in Art, Music and Theater Studies in Munich and Florence. Being curious about the narrative of earthly changes and challenges, she decided not only to continue her literary studies but also to expand her knowledge through the Environmental Studies Certificate Program. She looks forward to many interdisciplinary and intercultural insights at the Rachel Carson Center.
Her strong desire to create a better future was sparked at a young age, when she decided to take action and join the environmental organization Plant-for-the-Planet. She believes that knowledge and action should always go hand in hand.
You will find Pia in the library, reading the latest climate fiction novel, or out in nature, taking long walks.
