While Niklas has a very theoretical and technical background, receiving his Bachelors in Computer Science from TUM in 2023, with a minor in economics, he has always been interested in various other fields of study like history, anthropology, political and natural sciences. While it is not possible to pursue all his interests at once, he saw the possibility of exploring at least some areas at the Environmental Certificate program, where he hopes to gain a greater understanding of the environment and how climate change, policies and technology affect and influence it. Furthermore he is interested in the relationship between human societies and and their historical relationship with their natural environment and how nature and culture can and have been interlinked. He is currently pursuing computer science in the Masters degree at LMU and joined the certificate program in 2023.
