Johanna Mohrs completed her bachelor’s degree in communication with a minor in international relations at the State University of New York College at Geneseo in 2021. Her interest in the Rachel Carson Center’s principles emerged at a fairly young age and was greatly enhanced during an Erasmus semester at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands while learning about various forms of consequential human-environment interaction there such as the Groningen gas field and Dutch flood-control methods. She is pursuing a master’s degree in sociology at LMU.
