Anastasia got her bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics at the University of Tübingen with a focus on systems biology of human pathogens. Now she pursues a master's degree in Bioinformatics at the TUM. Her interest in studying the complex behavior of biological systems in their native environment brought her to join the Environmental Studies Program. She believes that an interdisciplinary approach can establish communication between different fields of research to solve emergent environmental problems as alpine glacier melt and educate new generations.
