Marieke Behlen completed a bachelor's degree in health science at the Technical University of Munich in 2020. Afterwards, she started a master's degree in public health at LMU Munich. While working on her thesis about people's awareness of the influence their food choices have on their health and on climate change, she developed an interest in environmental studies, which is why she joined the Environmental Studies Certificate Program.
